AT&T Low & high-end Android Smartphones UI & UX.
UI & UX 2020
Business need
As a UX lead for AT&T, I played a key role in customizing both the basic and high-end Android models that would be launched in the US market. AT&T has specific requirements for ID, hardware, and UX that need to comply with their standards. This includes adhering to AT&T's UI/UX standards (#18384) for Graphics, Motion, Settings, Accessibilities, Video calling, RTT messaging, and more. Throughout the product development cycle, it was crucial to obtain approvals from AT&T on the documentation to ensure compliance with their requirements.

Challenges & Results
Challenges: Working with AT&T as a new client presented several challenges, including the need to adhere to their specific UI/UX standards and documentation while facing tight deadlines. As the lead designer, I tackled these challenges by implementing a phased approach with daily reviews and follow-ups, both internally and externally, to ensure that we were on the right track. Additionally, there was the challenge of language translation when communicating requirements and expectations to local designers. To overcome this, I developed strategies for resource management, communication, execution, and documentation to meet the client's expectations.
Results: The successful launch of the first two low-cost smartphones by AT&T in the US market in early 2021 was a significant achievement. These smartphones, as shown below, were just the beginning, there were more devices in the pipeline.
